Result quality depends largely on how well the base is prepared. Within our services we perform the full work cycle: old floor removal, rough structure leveling, if needed – new leveling or plywood installation, and only then new covering installation.
Proper preparation includes removing old coverings (be it old laminate, parquet, tile, carpet or floor installation), cleaning the surface of glue, dirt, dust. Next, if the base is uneven, we suggest leveling options: dry leveling, cement-sand leveling, self-leveling compound or plywood/OSB board installation on joists – depending on the future floor type.
Requirements differ for each covering. For example, under laminate or floating parquet a level rough structure without height differences (max 2 mm in 2 meters) is enough – this is easy to achieve with self-leveling compound. Under glued coverings (parquet, vinyl tiles, linoleum) the base must be leveled almost perfectly, because even small bumps can show through the material. We achieve smoothness by sanding or filling local defects.
Base dryness is also important: before parquet or laminate installation we measure leveling moisture, if needed we pause for drying or use special base paints-waterproofers. We also pay attention to cleanliness – before covering installation we vacuum the base so no sand grains remain that could cause creaking.
We perform removal and preparation work quickly and carefully, with construction waste removal. You're free from worries – the team brings everything needed and brings the floor to full readiness for new covering. As a result you get not only beautifully installed, but also technically correct floor that won't warp, creak or last as long as possible.
